Healthcare Packaging and Medical Devices Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) Sanner Group has acquired specialist Springboard in the design and development of medical devices for regulated markets. The acquisition of Springboard aligns with Sanner Group’s goal of creating a suite of services for its customers in drug distribution, diagnostics, and MedTech devices.

The capabilities of Springboard will enhance Sanner Group’s in-house medical device development capabilities and establish a new Design Center of Excellence in the UK. Cost-effective
Springboard, with expertise spanning engineering, multidisciplinary scientific skills, and capabilities in physics, electronics, software, and material science, is a robust company with 30-strong domestic capabilities, known for cost-effective regulated device development. The acquisition broadens Sanner Group’s CDMO portfolio, extending from drug delivery devices such as autoinjectors, infusion pumps, inhalers, and syringes to consumables and equipment in the areas of respiratory care, surgery, critical care, implants, diagnostics, and biotechnology.
Primary Healthcare Packaging
Sanner Group is shaping the next generation of CDMOs with a focus on active primary healthcare packaging, combining agility and smart thinking with a longstanding tradition in the global market, including a portfolio of world-leading products. The acquisition of Springboard plays a crucial role in Sanner Group’s strategy to enhance its CDMO activities in the medical technology and diagnostics sectors. The establishment of Sanner Group’s new Design Center of Excellence will be at the core of these efforts.
